Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM)

In light of the tragic incidents in Magdeburg, Germany and New Orleans, USA, NPSA want to highlight the full suite of advice and guidance on Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) available on the public website.

This includes how to survey a site and how to select and holistically install appropriate temporary, socketed or permanent vehicle security barrier systems.

In addition, NPSA's Security On Your Side campaign has been designed to amplify the deterrent effect of HVM whilst reassuring the public about the measures in place to help keep them safe.
