Search and Screening Survey

Searching and screening of individuals on entry or exit to a site is a common occurrence. However, outside of aviation, there are limited requirements or standards for staff training. This can result in a lack of consistency, and different levels of assurance between sites.

As the National Technical Authority for protective security, NPSA  is looking to capture a snap-shot of the current position. We want to know what training is provided, by whom and do you consider it appropriate and effective.

This will provide us with a baseline understanding of current provision and allow us to direct resources into improving our security advice.

If you employ or otherwise engage staff to undertake search and screening, we would be grateful if you could compete our short survey by the 21st November

Responses will not be shared outside NPSA and contractors working with us on this project.
