Built to BS 1722 Part 12 and consists of ‘w’ pales 3000mm above a concrete cill with a approximately 1000 mm diameter barbed tape concertina topping giving an overall height of approximately 3850mm above ground.
PIDS installation on fence fabric:
A double run of Interceptor sensor cable is installed on the lower and upper Aris rails of the palisade fence fabric using plastic capping, and secured with GQTY-2 UV resistant cable ties spaced at intervals of no more than 500mm.
PIDS installation in BTC topping:
A single run of Interceptor sensor cable in flexible armoured conduit (FAC) is installed in the BTC topping and secured to the topping using GQTY-1 UV resistant cable ties at every crossover point of the BTC coil.
