Description

The system comprises a linear magnetic sensor cable (VibraTek) deployed along the fence line and connected via line modules to a VibraSector analyser.

Specification

The system has been assessed on a 50m long Woven Mesh Welded Mesh fence approximately 3000mm high was installed; this included a 135° change in direction. A 710mm short barbed taped concertina was fitted; this was supported on 2 No Galvanized line wires fixed to T bars fitted at each post.

The VibraTek VS sensor cable was installed in two horizontal runs of sensor with the lower run at a height of 1 metre above ground level, and the upper run fixed along the lower edge of razor coil topping above the BTC support wires. UV resistant cable ties were used to secure the sensor cable at intervals of 200mm.
