Security Culture - Optimising People in Security

Our e-learning module on ‘Optimising People in Security’ provides an introduction to the topic of security culture and the essential role people play in protective security. The module is around 20 minutes long and contains a ‘knowledge check’ at the end for you to self-evaluate your understanding and learning of the themes discussed. Therefore we recommend allowing 30 minutes in total for its completion. The module will:

- Deepen your understanding of the importance of people in preventing, detecting and deterring security threats
- Consider factors that influence why people do (and do not) adopt security savvy behaviours, and how to create an environment that encourages and enables people to be security conscious in their thinking and actions
- Introduce you to some NPSA products that will assist you with improving security behaviours and strengthening security culture over time
